Turning Stone Casino expansion to create up to 300 new jobs

The Oneida Indian Nation’s Turning Stone Resort Casino is undergoing a $370 million expansion, named Turning Stone Evolution, which is projected to create between 200 and 300 new jobs. The expansion includes the 258-room Crescent Hotel, the Salt Seafood & Raw Bar, and the Grand Expo convention center, all scheduled to open in June and September of 2026. Hiring for these positions will begin in March 2026 and increase as the new facilities become operational. The Oneida Indian Nation already employs 5,200 people and is a major employer in Central New York. In 2025, the Nation reported a record-breaking economic impact of $855 million, with significant spending on capital projects and employee compensation. Furthermore, payments to New York State and surrounding counties totaled $94.3 million in 2025, as part of a 2013 agreement.
