Tampa casino names new president
Summary
Travis Lunn, 52, has been named the new president of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, as part of a series of appointments made by Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International. Lunn, a new addition to the organization, will report to David Hoenemeyer, the chief operating officer of Seminole Gaming, which manages six Florida casinos for the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The Tampa Hard Rock is the largest casino in Seminole Gaming’s portfolio. Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming, stated the appointments reflect the talent within the organization and the caliber of new leaders. Lunn brings over 25 years of gaming and hospitality experience, most recently serving as president and COO of Mandalay Bay, The W, Luxor and Four Seasons at MGM Resorts International. His hiring follows a $65 million renovation completed last year under former president Steve Bonner, whose departure Seminole Gaming declined to comment on.
