The Pasay City Police arrested Mel, 18, the suspect in a viral truck robbery, along with Jeff, 33, and Atan, 34, during an “Oplan Galugad” operation on April 16. Mel was identified as the individual in a video showing him stealing goods from a stalled truck at EDSA and Roxas Boulevard while posing as a vehicle cleaner. The three were caught gambling with P300 and three one-peso coins. An improvised firearm was found on Mel, and Jeff and Atan were found with suspected shabu worth P2,312. The suspects are detained and face charges related to illegal gambling, firearms, and drugs.
