Casino Plus rolls out P3-M aid for quake-hit Mindanao communities

Casino Plus, through its corporate social responsibility arm Color Your World Foundation, has allocated over P3 million in emergency assistance for communities affected by the magnitude 7.8 Mindanao earthquake. The Project Bigkis relief effort will focus on General Santos City and Sarangani province, providing at least 150 livable tents, nearly 1,500 hygiene and medicine kits, more than 1,000 solar-powered lamps and potable water in coordination with government agencies and partners. Casino Plus CEO Evan Spytma said the company aims to support temporary shelter, essential supplies and immediate recovery needs, while the foundation also plans longer-term rehabilitation, including rebuilding damaged classrooms and launching livelihood programs, with stakeholders such as the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.
