Construction will begin on Monday on the Colley Road reconstruction project between Willowbrook Road and the I‑39/90 bridge. The city will close the road to through traffic, directing drivers to alternate routes while maintaining access to Springbrook Village. The work will repair the deteriorated roadway, add a shared‑use path and sidewalk, and realign a section to create safer, more gradual curves for drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists. The project is part of Beloit’s preparation for increased traffic expected with the opening of the Ho‑Chunk Nation casino later this year.
