David Spade to perform at Aurora Hollywood Casino
Summary
David Spade, the former "Saturday Night Live" cast member, comedian and actor, has announced his "I got a feel for it" national tour, which includes a Feb. 27, 2027 performance at the newly opened Aurora Hollywood Casino resort in Aurora, Illinois. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 16, with presales held Tuesday through Thursday, and the show begins at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. Casino manager Greg Moore said Spade's event fits the casino's new vision of operating as a broader entertainment complex rather than mainly a gambling facility, as it did at its former downtown Aurora location. The $360 million complex, which opened in June near Interstate 88, offers 1,200 gaming positions, a 226-room hotel, a 12,000-square-foot event center, and dining options including Sorella by Giada and Boulevard Food & Drink. Moore said the casino will host a variety of acts over the next year to gauge local interest, from comedians to rock and roll to a magician. Spade is known for his roles on "Saturday Night Live," "Just Shoot Me," "Tommy Boy," "Grown Ups" and "The Emperor's New Groove," and more recently starred in and produced the 2026 film "Busboys" and co-hosted the "Fly on the Wall" podcast with Dana Carvey. The casino generated $17.4 million in revenue and nearly 156,000 visits in July, ranking third among Illinois's 17 casinos, followed by roughly 263,000 visitors and over $30 million in revenue in August and over 124,000 visitors and over $14 million in September.
