Sawant stated that while permission had been sought, the government has requested the company revise its proposal. Delegation members expressed satisfaction with the assurance, but also requested the official withdrawal of permission for the vessel replacement, and raised concerns about casino-related encroachment and advertising. The Chief Minister accused some individuals and opposition members of attempting to mislead the public for political gain.
