The casino claims they were unable to reach Offset for payment and attempted to withdraw funds directly from his account, which reportedly lacked sufficient funds. This legal issue arises just days after Offset was shot near the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Police detained two individuals in connection with the shooting, which is still under investigation. Offset is known as a member of the rap group Migos, which disbanded after the death of member Takeoff in 2022, and for his marriage to Cardi B, which ended in 2024.
