Boyd Gaming sets opening for new casino in Las Vegas Valley
Summary
Boyd Gaming announced the upcoming opening of its Cadence Crossing casino in Henderson, Nevada, slated for late March. This marks Boyd’s first new development in over 20 years, replacing the existing Jokers Wild casino on Boulder Highway. The 50,000-square-foot project includes a 10,000-square-foot casino and is strategically positioned to capitalize on the rapid residential growth in the Cadence masterplanned community, which saw over 1,200 homes sold in 2025. The casino will initially feature 450 slot machines and various food and beverage options, with plans for a future hotel expansion. Boyd also reported record revenue of $4.09 billion in 2025, despite a slight dip in net income during the fourth quarter, and is continuing modernization projects at other properties like Suncoast and Orleans.
