Off-Strip casino to get new name, undergoing renovations
Summary
Truckee Gaming LLC purchased the Poker Palace Casino in North Las Vegas for $20 million in October and has initiated renovations to rebrand it as Club Fortune Casino North. The Nevada Gaming Control Board has recommended approval of Truckee Gaming’s gaming license for the property. The remodel includes a complete interior and exterior overhaul, new gaming machines, a redesigned bar, expanded dining areas, modernized restrooms, and a revitalized poker room. The company also plans to operate a Boomers Sportsbook within the casino. Truckee Gaming also received licensing recommendations for Boomers at Stockman’s Casino in Fallon and Grand Lodge Casino in Incline Village. The Poker Palace originally opened in 1974.
