Faisalabad City Police conducted operations targeting gambling and drug trafficking, resulting in the arrest of 29 individuals. Police spokesperson Muhammad Tariq reported that the raids were carried out under the direction of CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar. Eight suspects – Javed, Tanveer, Fayyaz, Khalil, and Sarwar – were arrested for gambling-related offenses, while 21 suspects – including Zahoor, Ashfaq, Shahid, Umar Daraz, Aslam Nadeem, and Sahil – were apprehended for drug trafficking. Authorities recovered over six kilograms of hashish, more than five kilograms of heroin, over 500 grams of ice, and 149 liters of liquor. CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar affirmed a strict crackdown on all involved in these illegal activities to ensure the city's safety.
