Namibia's gaming sector is forecast to reach N$948 million in revenue by the end of 2025, according to Statista. This growth is fueled by both land-based casinos, which currently contribute an estimated N$373.8 million annually, and rising mobile penetration. The sector currently comprises 2,845 registered gaming machines across six licensed casinos and 254 gambling establishments. Online gaming is also emerging, with projected revenue of N$26.7 million in 2025 and an expected annual growth rate of 7.68% through 2030. Increased regulatory oversight, including the shutdown of over 280 illegal operators since the Gaming and Entertainment Control Act of 2018, is strengthening the industry.
