MGM reports March gambling results

MGM Springfield’s casino revenue for March reached $27 million, a rise from both the $22 million recorded in February and the $25.5 million reported in March 2025, as per the Massachusetts Gaming Commission. While this represents growth, it remains below the initial projection of $34.8 million per month made before the casino’s 2018 opening. The casino contributed $6.75 million in taxes last month. Across the state, Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield, and Encore Boston Harbor collectively generated approximately $107.76 million in gross gambling revenue. Additionally, sports wagering, both online and in-person, brought in $65.43 million in taxable revenue, with MGM Springfield’s sportsbook handling $1.18 million in bets.
